The perfect floating aquatic plant.
Duckweed is exceptionally easy to keep. Once added to the tank it is almost impossible to get rid of it. It will prosper under almost all freshwater conditions.

Duckweed provides cover for fish and fry, oxygenates the water and promotes the growth of a multitude of microscopic organisms that may become food sources for your fish.

Overall it is an excellent beginners plant and good to have around but be careful with it as duckweed can be a pest.
